For all you New York people out there, I’m playing my first NYC gig at Don Hill’s on October 29th! It’s, a groovy rock venue, so I'll be doing a more rock-oriented set. Don Hill's is usually 21+, but they made an exception by putting me on really early at 7:15, with doors at 7 so it's 18+. That was really cool of them. The thing is, because I'm new to the city, I don't know a ton of people quite yet... so if you know anyone who might be vaguely interested in hearing a half asian kid squeak distorted violin for 40 minutes, please let them know :)
I have some other gigs lined up for the next couple of months, but I still have to confirm dates. Hope to see you there!

So I met this chill acoustic singer-songwriter with mad performance skills at a gig a few months back named Ben Ruttenburg, and I’m pleased to say I’ll be backing him up in a trio on March 24th at the Village Tavern in the west village!
